As above, the course will start next week. The instructor is Ian Troughton; to whom congrats on getting you this far.
Ian is away for the first night, so I will take the first lesson. During this course, you are required to construct a project. That project WILL involve soldering.... So, to get you off to a good start, the first lesson will be on practical soldering. I will bring along a selection of soldering irons and associated
stuff. Should you wish to bring along your own personal soldering axe, then fine
After a short talk and enough demo's that everyone is happy, we will all carry on with individual soldering. There will be enough components and bits of circuit board around so that everyone can
fill their boots! Perchance Chris Hill and Pete Bennett will attend to give a hand during your practical....
