Club Location or “QTH”

Our club meetings are held at Henllys Vilage Hall, a google map of which is shown on the right. Our maidenhead locator square is IO81lp.

Directions to the club
From Cwmbrân town centre head up to Springvale then Greenmeadow up Greenforge way to roundabout by Community farm, take third exit to go up the hill past the farm, Follow the road around past the school on left to roundabout at the bottom of hill, Take the third exit to go up the hill Henllys way, follow the road around until you come to the 2 X traffic islands then turn right! On to Henllys village road take second left to go up hill. The
Dorallt Inn is straight ahead and on the right is Henllys Village hall.

80m Band Club Net

We often hold an 80m band club net on Thursday evenings from 19:30 local time onwards, and on Sunday mornings from 10:00 local time onwards. We use LSB mode transmissions on a frequency on or close to 3.722 Mhz (dependant on radio traffic).

2m Band Club Net

Most of us monitor 145.375 MHz in the Cwmbrân area and often hold a net on Monday evenings.

DStar Nodes

The club runs and administers 3 DStar nodes in the area, MB6AA, MB6IAA, MB6AB  MB6AC, MB6IAC on both 70cms and 2m. Click on the nodes for details. Please make a donation here to keep the DCS system running (via GB3IN)
